Tucked away in the breathtaking Langstrothdale Valley, High Greenfield Cottage is a wonderfully peaceful and spacious dog-friendly Yorkshire Dales retreat, surrounded by open countryside and beautiful scenery.

This is a place to slow down, breathe in the fresh country air and reconnect with nature. With scenic walks from the front door, you can step straight out into the Dales and explore the surrounding landscape without having to get in the car. The cottage is also regularly visited by red squirrels, along with pheasants and a wonderful variety of wild birds - so keep your eyes peeled, as you may be lucky enough to enjoy some very special wildlife encounters during your stay.

Sleeping up to 4 guests, High Greenfield Cottage is particularly well suited to families or friends looking for space, comfort and a genuine countryside escape. Inside, there are two large bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, with one bedroom offering the flexibility to be arranged as twin beds if preferred.

The cottage has a comfortable living room, a separate kitchen and dining room that's perfect for relaxed meals together, and a spacious family bathroom with both a separate shower and bath. After a muddy walk, the useful utility room provides somewhere to leave boots, coats and walking gear as well as a handy space for drying off wet paws.

Outside, there's a small enclosed garden directly from the front door, together with a separate sheltered and enclosed gravelled patio with outdoor furniture. It's a lovely place to sit with a morning coffee, enjoy an evening drink or simply take some time to appreciate the surrounding landscape and listen to the sounds of the countryside.

High Greenfield Cottage offers something increasingly difficult to find - space, peace, wildlife and the freedom to simply slow down. Whether you're exploring the Langstrothdale Valley on foot, enjoying a family break or escaping with your dogs, this is a wonderful place to experience a quieter side of the Yorkshire Dales.
