Nestled within the picturesque village of Redmire, in Wensleydale is the delightful Croft House. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this is a beautiful and welcoming two bedroom dog friendly cottage with spacious and supremely comfortable accommodation.  Immaculately presented, combining modern touches and amenities with age-old features you would want from a traditional Yorkshire Dales holiday cottage! Oh, and did we mention that there is a dog-friendly Dales village pub just a minute's walk from the cottage!?

Croft House welcomes up to 3 dogs with no restrictions - they are welcome on the sofa, upstairs and on the beds!

Open the front door and you are greeted by a warm and homely dining kitchen. The kitchen, boasting a superb Rangemaster Electric Oven, is fully equipped and steps down to the dining table adjacent to the window that looks on to the rear garden and a splendid view of the imposing Penhill. The snug living room has a comfortable L-shaped corner sofa on which to relax in front of the cosy log burner.

Upstairs, there are two large bedrooms, each with a king-size bed. Both cosy and quirky, they possess plenty of charming character features that you might often find with a traditional cottage; slightly sloped floors and low beamed ceilings. In addition, there is a spacious bathroom, warm and modern with a deep and wide bath with shower over.

Outside, Croft House has a delightful south-facing enclosed lawned garden that looks on to a large open field and that unspoiled view of Penhill. With attractive borders and an old estate wall to the side, the garden has a fantastic brick built BBQ, and the “Gin Bench” on which to sit and relax as you enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful scenery.

Like the vast majority of cottages in the Yorkshire Dales, Croft House was built well before the advent of the motor vehicle, so there is no designated off-road parking at the cottage. However, there is space outside the front door to stop briefly on arrival to unload your car of baggage, passengers and your dogs before parking in one of the many roadside spaces close-by in the village.

We are sure you will absolutely love your stay at Croft House! It is a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location with plenty to explore from the doorstep and beyond. Bolton Castle is just a mile away, Aysgarth Falls less than 4 miles away and the popular market town of Leyburn is just 5 miles from the cottage. Croft House is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing break in the Yorkshire Dales.
