Kisdon Hill & Kisdon Force, Swaledale

What a walk!! It has been said that the walk from Muker to Keld is possibly the best walk in the whole of the Yorkshire Dales and we might just agree with that!

The riverside walk from Muker to Kisdon Force along the broad valley is breathtakingly beautiful as you follow the river towards Crackpot Hall and the old lead mines. The waterfalls are lovely as is the walk through the serene hamlet of Keld.

The climb up to the summit of Kisdon is a real treat - well marked and not too steep - and the views of Upper Swaledale are spectacular.

A thoroughly enjoyable walk that we will be doing again in the coming months and will be putting out an open invite to our followers and guests to join us. Watch this space.
