Ribblehead Circular

It's back!!

Although we have been out walking aplenty lately, we haven't posted one of our popular featured walks for quite a while so today we have put on our walking boots again and are excited to share with you once again; "This Weekend's Walk"!

We have eased our way back in to it with a very gentle and flat 4.5 mile circular walk of Ribblehead. Starting from the Station Inn at Ribblehead we followed the track beneath the magnificent and imposing Ribblehead Viaduct and followed the track westwards crossing over Winterscales Beck and following a circular track around Broadrake and the farm at Ivescar before walking beneath the arches of the viaduct and returning to the Station Inn for a few drinks and some lovely food.

The weather was very mild and bright which made this an even more enjoyable Sunday stroll and an easy walk whilst offering some stunning scenery of Ribblehead Viaduct, Pen y ghent, Ingleborough and of course, Whernside.
