Pit Pony Podcast with Kitty

At the end of last year, I was invited by Sharon and Sarah to share my experience on their Pit Pony Podcast, talking about life after teaching and how I’ve found my way to thrive beyond the classroom. To be honest, it was a lot more challenging than I expected. Revisiting some of the more difficult chapters in my life - navigating anxiety and everything that came with it, and my fear. I realised just how much I was holding back, afraid of saying the wrong thing or facing potential repercussions. Reflecting on it a little bit more, I see now how much that fear probably stemmed from years of feeling like I couldn’t fully express my experience and possibly saying the wrong thing…

I hope by doing this and sharing my story is to acknowledge where I’ve been, but also to celebrate where I am today. Things can still be tough sometimes, but there’s so much hope. I’m learning to understand myself more and focus on moving forward by growing Westholme, and the portfolio of cottages, Cozy Holiday Cottages, has to offer you all
